The AIDA Cruises fleet opened this year's summer season on April 21, 2023, with the arrival of the AIDAluna in Kiel. In total, three AIDA ships will visit the seaport 64 times during the season. The season will end on November 4 with AIDAnova, the largest ship in Kiel for the season, which will start its maiden voyage on April 29, 2023.

Short trips for beginners: taster cruises from Kiel

During the season, which lasts about seven months, guests have a wide choice of cruises from Kiel, including destinations such as the Baltic Sea, Norway's fjords or the Arctic Circle. Short trips of three, four or five days on board also offer ideal opportunities for relaxation in between.

Taster cruises from Kiel are ideal for those who want to get to know the cruise adventure. The three-day voyages in May and September 2023 take the AIDAluna through the Danish island kingdom with stops in Århus and Copenhagen. The short trips to Norway and Denmark last four days, during which guests can experience Oslo, Copenhagen, the Oslofjord and the world's oldest ski jump at Holmenkollen, among other places.
